I am Serena

My name is Serena Williams and I am a freelance makeup artist in Charlotte, NC. Serena Trilliams is my business name and a wordplay on my name to fully express my versatility as a makeup artist. My current specialty of makeup is soft glam/skin-like/bridal looks, but I initially entered this industry doing bold makeup looks, like cut creases and glitter; so my name is a representation of my artistic versatility. I started doing makeup in 2020 during the pandemic and realized it is my mental safe place to enhance other women’s beauty, so it has turned into my business and my passion. I am a self-taught makeup artist but my passion has me constantly seeking education opportunities to learn new knowledge and techniques. My goal as a makeup artist is to make sure that when someone is getting their makeup done by me, that it is more than just a makeup session but it is an experience. I aim to make every woman who sit in my chair to feel beautiful and comfortable for whatever occasion they are booking for.
